6. RR For Rappin' And Rockin' (RR a rapnek és a rocknak) 2014
After publishing Fashionably Late, Ronnie Radke arrived at a much balanced creative era, compared to the energies from the rage and revenge he felt short after being released from prison. He didn't feel bad anymore about people like Max or Craig, who he thought were the spoiler of his destiny before; understood that he himself was the self-destructive person and overall maybe things just had to be this way.

Of course the giant success of Falling In Reverse contributed much to this chill, so that he no longer had to be uncertain about the future. Anyways, he was looking for the opportunities to settle his situations and trying to pick them up where he left them off.

Another issue he was about to fix was his desire to try his hand at rap. His affection to rap and hip-hop dated from his early childhood. He was about 8 when he was given Dr. Dre's Chronic album, then later he discovered Eminem, who made a huge influence on him. He started to write rap lyrics and having the talent of fasttalk, he was able to perform them in front of whether schoolmates or small audiences.
Másik dolog, amit rendezni szeretett volna, az a vágya volt, hogy kipróbálja magát a rap műfajban. Rap és hip-hop iránti szeretete még a korai gyermekéveiből eredt. 8 éves lehetett, amikor magkapta Dr. Dre Chronic albumát, majd később felfedezte Eminemet, aki hatalmas hatást gyakorolt rá. Elkezdett rap szövegeket írni, és minthogy megvolt a tehetsége a gyorsbeszédhez, elő is tudta adni őket akár iskolatársak, akár kisebb közönség előtt.

Rapping was always a part of his life and took permanent place in his artwork. Since Fashionably Late he wittingly mixed hip-hop music elements with the hardcore and punk-rock style he was basically creating. He had the dream of a pure rap/hip-hop album where he could have experimented his ideas and opportunities. In 2013, after Fashionably Late was released and got a positive feedback in majority, Ronnie finally decided to create a mixtape solo album called Watch Me, which would serve as an ars poetica of his, due to the strongly intimate and personal lyrics and his best comrades' collab on the songs.
A rappelés mindig része volt az életének, és állandó helyet foglalt el a művészetében. A Fashionably Late óta már akaratlagosan keverte a hip-hop elemeket a hardcore és punk-rock stílussal, amelyben alapvetően alkotott. Álma volt egy színtiszta rap/hip-hop album, ahol kikísérletezhetné az ötleteit és a lehetőségeit. 2013-ban, miután a Fashionably Late megjelent és többnyire pozitív visszajelzéseket kapott, Ronnie végül úgy döntött, hogy létrehoz egy mixtape szólóalbumot Watch Me címmel, amely ars poeticájául szolgálna az erősen intim és személyes szövegeknek, illetve a legkedvesebb zenészkollégái közreműködésének köszönhetően.

The mixtape was recorded but finally hadn't got released as album. The songs were released and put to stream one by one. The 2nd released song, "What Up Earth?" was left out of all lists, but it was also streamed and uploaded on Youtube.
An EP was created much later, with the most popular songs from the planned album, and another 2 songs were added ("Blacklist" ft. b.LaY and "Fair Weather Fans").
Even later the unreleased song "Role Model" was discovered and uploaded on Youtube in addition to the mixtape album.
A mixtape felvételre került, de végül nem jelent meg albumként. A dalok megjelentek és meghallgathatóak voltak külön-külön. A második megjelent dal, a "What Up Earth?" minden listából kimaradt, de ez is hallható volt és fel lett töltve Youtube-ra.
Létrejött egy EP sokkal később, a tervezett album legnépszerűbb dalaival, és még két dallal, ami hozzá lett adva ("Blacklist" ft. b.LaY és "Fair Weather Fans").
Még később a "Role Model" című, meg nem jelent dal is előkerült, és fel lett töltve YouTube-ra, kiegészítésül a mixtape albumhoz.

The mixtape songs did not go viral but there were a lot of fans and a narrow circle of professional audience giving a very much positive feedback to it. There were certain rappers who basically rejected it because of Ronnie's higher tones and pitches, the personal lyrics or the Eminem-style rapping. Nonetheless the songs turned out to be long-lived, they kept representing an outstanding rapping style and became iconic for fans over the years.
A mixtape dalok nem terjedtek el széles körben, de sok rajongótól és egy szűkebb szakmai körtől nagyon pozitív visszajelzést kaptak. Voltak bizonyos rapperek, akik alapból elutasították Ronnie erősebb hangja és magasabb tónusai, a személyes hangvételű szövegek vagy az Eminem-stílusú rappelés miatt. Ennek ellenére a dalok hosszúéletűnek bizonyultak, továbbra is egy kiemelkedően jó rap stílust képviselnek és ikonikussá váltak a rajongók számára az évek során.

Another experience of Ronnie Radke in the domain of rap and hip-hop was the cover he made to Coolio's (1963-2022 R.I.P.) legendary song, "Gangsta's Paradise". Though it wasn't his solo project but Falling In Reverse's, it was still an individual initiative. They recorded the cover and released within the Punk Goes series, on Punk Goes 90s Vol. 2., and later made a video for it too (see link below).
Ronnie Radke másik rap területen szerzett tapasztalata Coolio (1963-2022, R.I.P.) legendás dalának, a "Gangsta's Paradise"-nak a feldolgozása. Bár ez nem a szólóprojektje volt, hanem a Falling In Reverse-é, mégis egyéni kezdeményezésből jött létre. Felvették a feldolgozást és kiadták a Punk Goes sorozat 90s Vol. 2. albumán, később pedig videoklip is készült hozzá (lásd az alábbi linken).
