7. Undertow And Reckoning (Hullámtörés és számadás) 2015-16
Years 2013-2014 were an unbearably dense period of time in the life of Ronnie Radke. Despite of Falling In Reverse's ascending success, he had to face several breaking points in his personal life, of which one per a (lifetime) year would have been enough for anyone. He hadn't even recovered from the effects of prison, he was hit by people's hatred, the trial of domestic violence, the birth of his daughter, then the breakup with his baby momma and a bad relationship with her. On the top of all those, in Summer 2013 his brother, Anthony passed away in a car accident, which came as a shock for him and the whole family.
A 2013-14-es évek elviselhetetlenül sűrű időszak volt Ronnie Radke életében. A Falling In Reverse folyamatosan növekvő sikere ellenére olyan töréspontokat kellett elszenvednie a magánéletében, amelyekből egy is elég lett volna bárkinek (az életben) évente. Még ki sem heverte a börtön hatását, ledöntötte az emberek gyűlölete, az erőszak vádja miatti per, a lánya születése, majd annak anyjával való szakítása és rossz viszonya. Mindennek a tetejében, 2013. nyarán a bátyja, Anthony meghalt autóbalesetben, mely sokkhatásként érte őt és az egész családot.
The 3rd Falling In Reverse album, Just Like You was meant to be heavier than all other albums up to that point. Rap/hip-hop was "relegated to a minor role"*, and instead of experimenting new tones or expressing raw personal experiences through the music, this album meant to be "back to a more serious note"*. According to Derek Jones Ronnie's songwriting became better with each album and his vocal skills were also developing rapidly to an inimitable level. Even his screams got more gulf and deepened, and that was a core feature on Just Like You album.
A harmadik Falling In Reverse album, a Just Like You keményebbnek lett tervezve az összes többi addigi albumnál. A rap/hip-hop háttérbe szorult, és az új hangzások kikísérlezetése, illetve a személyes élmények zenében való nyers kifejezése helyett ez a lemez sokkal komolyabb zenei hangsúlyokhoz tért vissza. Derek Jones szerint Ronnie zeneszerzési munkája minden albummal egyre jobb lett, és a vokális képességei is rohamosan fejlődtek az utánozhatatlanság szintjére. Még a hörgései is öblösebbek és mélyebbek lettek, ez pedig alapvető jellemzője volt a Just Like You albumnak.
Band members still remained the same, only bassist left. Many bass parts were played up by Max Green, but he wasn't officially a member of FIR band.
A zenekar tagjai ugyanazok maradtak, csak a bőgős távozott. Sok bőgő rész Max Green által lett feljátszva az albumra, de ő hivatalosan nem volt a FIR tagja.

Ronnie was "stoked about life"*. Anthony's death and all the other dark experiences from the past 2 years yet turned out to be the source of a creative fuel. Each of FIR's albums by now somewhat indicated Ronnie's feelings at the moment they were made. Just Like You got a little back to Escape The Fate's vibes: it was honest, straight and lyrically.
Ronnie-t "izgalommal töltötte el az élet". Anthony halála és az elmúlt 2 év összes többi sötét tapasztalata most úgy tűnt, egy kreatív üzemanyagforrásnak bizonyul. Mindegyik FIR album valahogy felidézte Ronnie akkori, pillanatnyi érzéseit, amikor éppen készült. A Just Like You mintegy visszanyúlt az Escape The Fate hangulatához: őszinte volt, egyenes és lírai.
The title song, "Just Like You" came out as an extremely catchy emo song, and also implied a very cheerful vibe. The music video was build upon this comical mood, started with a portrayed beef with Lorenzo Antonucci and mocked an Americal Idol show. Ronnie got the real Lorenzo for the role by a mutual friend, and in the mean time the two made peace with each-other. This song and video just proved again that no matter how serious a situation may seem, Ronnie can still laugh at himself at one point, which makes him authentic in terms of self-knowledge and acceptance.
A címadó dal, a "Just Like You" különösen fülbemászó emo dalnak íródott, és nagyon vidám hangulatot árasztott. A videoklip erre a vicces hangulatra épült, kezdődött egy megjátszott beszólással Lorenzo Antonucci irányába, és kifigurázta az "Amerikai Bálvány" műsort. Ronnie megnyerte az igazi Lorenzót a szerepre egy közös barátjuk által, és ezzel együtt ők ketten békét kötöttek egymással. Ez a dal és a videó újfent bebizonyította, hogy bármennyire komolynak tűnjön egy szituáció, Ronnie még mindig tud magán nevetni, amit hitelessé teszi őt az önismeretben és elfogadásban.
The musical style changes were again accompanied by changes in appearance. As the band ditched rap/hip-hop, the looseness morphed into 80s glam-rock attire, mixed with some theatrical glitz and color.
A zenei stílusváltozást ismét megjelenésbeli változás kísérte. Ahogy a banda levetette a rap/hip-hopot, a trendi lazaság átalakult a 80-as évek glam-rock viseletévé, keverve némi színpadias színnel és csillogással.
Getting close to the 10th anniversary of the first Escape The Fate album, in Spring of 2015 (April 24 – June 5) Ronnie organized a tour with new ETF and Craig Mabbitt together called "Ronnie Radke's Three-Ring-Circus" tour. Those were the last performances with Jacky Vincent in the band. He left before Halloween in 2015, and went on a solo career to Shrapnel Records. He thanked Ronnie and the band for all the years spent together and left with peace. He was the only one FIR member who left the band of his own accord.
FIR continued with Christian Thompson on guitars, already played at Vans Warped Tour 2015 with him.
Az Escape The Fate első albuma kiadásának 10. évfordulójához közeledve, 2015. tavaszán (ápr. 24 - jún. 5.) Ronnie megszervezett egy turnét az új ETF-el és Craig Mabbittel együtt, "Three-Ring Circus" (Háromkörös cirkusz - a halmozottan bonyolult helyzetkre értendő - szerk) néven. Ezek voltak a banda utolsó fellépései Jacky Vincenttel. Halloween előtt nem sokkal Jacky kilépett, hogy szólókarrierbe kezdjen a Shrapnel Recordsnál. Ő volt az egyetlen FIR tag a hosszú évek során, aki saját akaratából távozott a zenekarból.
A FIR Christian Thompson gitárossal folytatta tovább, a 2015-ös Vans Warped turnén már vele játszott.

Short before TRC tour Ronnie made a collab with rap musician Rufus Arthur "Bizarre d12"Johnson and together they wrote the song "Limitless", in which Ronnie had major featuring.
Bizarre also joined Falling In Reverse on "Three Ring Circus" tour.
Kevéssel a TRC turné előtt Ronnie közös projektbe kezdett Rufus Arthur "Bizarre d12" Johnson rap zenésszel, és együtt megírták a "Limitless" (Határtalan) című dalt, amelyben Ronnienak jelentős szerep jutott.
Bizarre szintén részt vett a Falling In Reverse "Three-Ring Circus" turnéján.
The writing of "Limitless" was unfortunately abandoned, and the song was not released. Ronnie told fans later that it hadn't had a chorus actually. In 2020, during one of his Twitch streams Ronnie played the almost ready track and recorded his ad-lib on the beats, which served as the final chorus to the song. Though it still hadn't been officially released, at least it got uploaded on YouTube and Soundcloud, and went viral among Ronnie's fans.
A "Limitless" megírása sajnálatos módon közben abbamaradt, és a dal nem került kiadásra. Ronnie azt mondta később a rajongóinak, hogy a dalhoz konkrétan nem született refrén. 2020-ban, egyik Twitch adása alatt Ronnie lejátszotta a majdnem kész számot és felvette rá a ritmusra recitált rap improvizációját, mely végső refrénként szolgált a dalnak.
